Kennedy Dentistry, PC opened in its Powell location in August 2005. Our location on Emory Road in Powell, TN was chosen because the charm of the Powell community and because of the convenience and easy to find locale. Located just a couple miles off of I-75 exit 112 (Emory Road), we are located directly on Emory Road west of I-75 and east of Clinton Highway.
Thank you so much for taking time to get to know a little about me and my practice philosophies. I am originally from Kingsport, a small town in Northeast Tennessee. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from University of Tennessee at Knoxville, then went on to receive my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center at Memphis. My late wife Kelly Ballard was from Powell, TN and convinced me to choose the Knoxville – Powell area due to its wonderful people, beauty, and proximity to our families. I have one beautiful daughter, Taylor, who is my inspiration for always striving to be the best father, dentist, and Christian that I can be.
